Background

Founded in 1976 the museum has steadily developed to become the Award-winning regional museum of

BERRIMA DISTRICT HISTORICAL & FAMILY HISTORY SOCIETY INC.

The museum is managed and staffed by volunteers.

The Museum today, following three major extensions to increase storage and museum capacity. The last extension, the ‘Williams Gallery’ opened in 2015 and was made possible through Federal, State and Local Government grants as well as Corporate donations and the generosity of local residents, trades people and suppliers of services and materials.
