LIBRARY

Our library is named in honour of Max Rogers, who was a member of our society from 1995 until his death in 2017. He was our librarian and research officer, but was so much more, devoting endless time to our organisation, going above and beyond to assist members and researchers alike.

He became an honorary life member of the Society in 2009.

Our reference and lending library contains an extensive collection of research and finding aids, published family, local and church histories as well as general history reading. The library holds a full bound set of Royal Australian Historical Society Journals from 1900 to the present, the Australian Dictionary of Biography, the Historical Records of NSW, as well as journals and newsletters from many historical and family history societies throughout Australia.
